This booklet was originally published in 1995 (and sold for a $1.00) by the Middletown Environmental Commission. It was created, in part, from a NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) grant. This 34 page booklet tells the story of the ecology of the northern bayshore coastline along Sandy Hook Bay, New Jersey (from Ideal Beach to Leonardo). The booklet is now out of print and it is often difficult to locate a copy. At present, hardcopies of the booklet (for free) can be found, while supplies last, at the Bayshore Waterfront Park Activity Center in Port Monmouth, NJ, which is open to the public on Sunday afternoons in the spring, summer and early fall. Please check the Monmouth County Park System for specific hours of operation.
